Thanks for the effort and time, I know it is hard word producing them but information presented is invaluable, particular to us DIYs. I’m looking at laying down porcelain slabs 40sqm and all the discussion regarding grout choice is interesting. The suppliers of the slabs recommend Joint-it. How do you think it compares to staintec you posted a few months before this vid? What would be your grout of choice?

No, the difference is the cleaning cheap tiles stain easily. Indian made Italian porcelain is crap. buy the real deal vitripiazza made in Italy they grout easily, clean easily chip resistant edges and better designed. Don't be tempted with the cheap 3x2s you'll regret it

Learned a lot from your video. I have concrete slab considering putting porcelain tile on. Slab is 10cm thick and in good condition but can't add any additional height. Is it feasible/advisable to grind down slab about 1.5 cm to make room for tile and thinset?

Im gone from the bricklaying trade but every summer my phone starts hopping wondering if ill do a garden wall here or a retaining wall there and low and behold next week im doing a 42 foot long 9 inch cavity block wall🙄the thought of it. I have vast areas to do. Pressure wasyhing for sure is best but I have masses of black spot which will not6 even if you concentrate for ages with the washer on the one spot be removed. So this year I have been experimenting with a chlorine product - I did part neat and part 50%. The neat goes most of it but I have only done a small areas of my huge patio areas which took 4 big containers' worth so not yet decided whether to spend the money to do much more. For people using a chlorine product do not let it go on skin or on plants - it really does work very well. I wet the patio first and then leave it on for a few hours as no rush and then wash it off. So far I have just used it in a watering can.

Been watching your vids so I can tackle some paving/tiling. One question, my existing ground is concrete (poorly laid but solid) I need to raise the level in some areas by up to about 6 inches or more. Will it be ok to put mot over the existing concrete? Or is it best to smash that out? Enjoying the vids 👍
